Sat Dec 02, 2006 1:58 pm   POMPEYS GREAT RUN

can pompey keep going. not doing too bad are they, for a team full of other teams rejects.

i dont know what it is with harry but hes gor a knack of gellin players together really well. even if some are shit and past it.

oh while im at it what the fuck was with david james hair against newcastle, it made him pull of some great saves that bring back the times of why he was an england goalie.

znyway, can they maintain there great start and actually hope for a european place this season or are they gonna fall apart and drift down the table.

they are upsetting a few teams this year. at anfield they were only the second team to take any points away with them this season.

it was always there away form that let them down but not now.
plus its always good to have a home ground were the fans really intimidate the other team.

lets have your thoughts on this then

Well it's going great at the moment for Pompey but their problem seems to be the're looking very short term at the moment. All the players they seem to be bringing in are getting on a bit and I can't see any young up and coming players there for the future. :?

'arry's knack didn't work too well for Southampton did it?

Sorry but I can't stand the bloke. However Pompey are doing well, any other manager and I'd be well chuffed for them.

Does anyone else think that David James'new hairdo make him look like Jaws from the Bond films.

They will not finish top 6, doing well, but there are other factors that will catch up with them and Harry was in the papers this morning saying he does not know if he'll be there this time next year, dispite the fact he has a 3 year contract, not what you want to hear is it !

They are doing well but they will have to sort out that new satdium and soon if they are to progress at all. They will not be in any trouble this season.

They got ripped by Utd and lost to the Toon !

with one point seperating third to ninth it's hard to see pompey maintaining there current position in the league. but saying that with the form that david james is in i wouldn't be surprised if they made a top ten finish this season. i also think reading r worth a shout as well, being newly promoted this season they are really competing.

same here. i was only asking how you feel they will do, bloody calm down. i agree with you all, they will slip and the tabl will look its normal self come the end of season with the usual 1 or 2 suprisae teams,

you will have arsenal liverpool united chelsea spurs then maybe as j says reading if they keep it up, which i cant see why not, then maybe pompey, around the mid table.

Everyone is calm, you asked a question and they are giving you their answers, no ones having a rant.

As for the relaagtion thing, still think that 3rd palce is open.

James at Pompey, yes always been a great shot stopper, but he's not called Calamity for nothing

another win, thank god, actually won away, cant believe it.

hopefully they can keep it going, shame city had united at this stage as united seem to be unbeatable in the league at the moment. not an easy game at all, especially when your players dont make it any easier when they get sent off for diving.

Yeah diving by Corradi ! not good at all, SP was not pleased with him, dont help when the ref is Graham Poll either and you play Chelsea, Arsenal or Utd. Ronaldo was ofside for that 3rd goal. Never mind.
