FROM SKY SPORTS

Danny Williams regained his British heavyweight crown on Friday night, and then admitted he may have fought his last fight.
The 33-year-old stopped Scott Gammer in the ninth round with a barrage of punches, reclaiming the belt that he first won in 2000.

However, Williams revealed afterwards that he had not been overly happy with his performance, and he admitted retirement is now a serious consideration.

"I will make a decision over the next few days. I didn't think I boxed too well in there and I was too inconsistent,” the new champion told Sky Sports.

"My performance was not that great. Now I'll go home and analyse the tape and if I think there is not much more I can do, that's it for Danny Williams.

"I really can't say what my gut feeling is at the moment. But I have always said I will never go out on a loss so this would be a good way to finish.

"In a few days I'll make up my mind, see if there is much left I can do and if not, I'm off."
