| It was a messy fight and I wasn't impressed with his showboating but a wins a win and he won quite comfortably on points in the end. :) |

That was the first boxing match i've watched in months. That Cameroon dude looked untouchable. If he learned to box he'd beat Calzaghe. Saying that he was a dirty shit with his head, and the late and low blows.
Quite entertaining mind. :D |

calzaghe did not deserve to win win by that clear a margin on the points.
the other bloke was solid. he took everything calzaghe threw at him and didnt even flinch. he even caught him with some good shots that hurt calzaghe. if calzaghe wasnt the champ that could of gone either way. i would have given it to the other bloke |

| I thouight Calzaghe just aboit scraped it. It certainly didn't look as easy as the judges made it out to be.. even with the deductions. |

He got lucky there and doesnot like the rought stuff does he, might teach him not to show boat.
He should fight Kessler next, not even worry about Hopkins, Hopkins retired, he is 40, he is a middle weight, he was boring against Howard Eastman and lucky to win that on points.
Joe has never really fought anyone good apart from Eubank and Lacey and Lacey was not much cop.
He never put in for the fights with Hopkins or Jones Jnr or with other top fighters when it mattered, instead he just fought like Robin Read.
If he really wants to get the yanks intrest,he should fight Kessler. Kessler has the the 2 more recognised belts the WBA and the WBC, the WBC is regarded as "THE" one to have at any weight. If he becomes undisputed champion, he'll get loads of big fight offers form al the oldwashed up past if fighters. Then long will come Alan Green, and if Joe is still the champion, Green will take him out.
This is providing Joe can take out Kessler.
The other thing that could explain his run against bum fighters is having Frank Warren organise and promote his fights, the man is a joke. |
