Feuding super-featherweights Manny Pacquiao and Marco Antonio Barrera will fight for the second time on October 6, according to reports in America.

Pacquiao, who stopped Barrera in the 11th round of their first fight back in November 2003, has settled a dispute over his promotional rights between Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions to open the way for a rematch with Barrera.

"I'm absolutely relieved this is behind us and that we will work together to make some great fights," ESPN.com quoted Top Rank promoter Bob Arum as saying.

"I think it's tremendous for boxing."

Pacquiao, 28, from the Phillipines boasts a 44-3 record that includes 36 knockouts, while Mexican Barrera - one of the all-time great featherweights - is 63-5 but lost on points in his most recent bout against Juan Manuel Marquez in March.
