Israel have been getting better and better in recent years and lately England seem to be getting worse....
An early goal will settle the nerves and pave the way to a comfortable win but personally
I'm happy with a scrappy 1-0, with a Steven Gerrard goal that takes two deflections. |

Israel are steadily improving and have a couple world class players.
Maybe i am being over critical or harsh, but should we really have to settle for a 1-0 win over what should really be a vastly inferior side?
A 5-0 drubbing would be unrealistic, based on our past performances, but a good comfortable win would settle my nerves and hopefully inject some much needed pride into the national side. |

| Have things got so bad that we're in this situation....a must win game against Israel and we're shitting our pants as to whether we can do it? Look at our group we should be top of it. Whats going to happen if we do get through and have to play Italy, Germany, France, Spain etc? |

| I was more disappointed with the fans today to be honest. These are the same ones who booed England off the pitch at the end of recent games who now couldn't even be arsed to stay till the end once it was a comfortable win, the stadium was half empty at full time. Oh, and don't even get me started on the people in the corperation seats who miss the first 15 minutes of each half, including Owens goal so they can quaff champagne in the bar! :evil: |
