Of the seven most recognised world heavyweight championship belts (IBF, WBC etc) ALL are currently held by East Europeans
How do the Americans fight back?
Who is their challenger to win the WBO belt in Moscow on October 13?
................Evander Holyfield ---------
Is that how bad heavyweight boxing is these days? |

Here are the current champs at heavyweight.
I haven't heard of a couple of them. It really must be the worst heavyweight division in history. And the yanks were moaning about Lennox Lewis! |

It gets worse -
Just checking who won the WBO world title fight, 'world champion' Ibragimov only beat Holyfield on points.
Doing a little research on who Ibragimov is I found out in 2007 he aquired the title on points, and won another fight beforehand.
In 2006 he only had on fight all year, which he drew - not exactly a top pedigree. |
