Well he was rocked again by someone who is a really a super featherweight, and who is really not there any more.
Khan needs to ditch Frank Warren and fast, I think he'd come unstuck if he fights European champion Romanov and he could struggle against British champion John Thaxton who he has constanly avoided, Thaxton has gone the distance with Ricky Hatton.
Talk of wanting to fight Pacquio are fanstasy land stuff, The Pacman would smash him to bits so to would WBC champion David Diaz.
Cracking fight to watch last night but I am starting to think that Khan is not all that he is being hyped as.
Khan won a great fight, is a fantastc puncher, but looks vunerable if not suspect in his defence.
At least he's gone for it - compare him to our last Olympic hero Audley Harrison- who has been a humiliation, who's dodging of opportunity has made him look like a coward.
At least Khan wants the fights, and gives his all in every minute of every round.

Khan not exactly getting the fights is he, he should be stepping up, he's commonwealth champion, why not take on the European champion Romanov, why ? because if someone one like Gomez can expose him, then Romanov certainly would take him apart, and as for wanting to fight Pac Man or Diaz this year, forget it.
Dont get me wrong, I want Khan to do well but beating Super feathers who have come back form the dead is another thing.
He has to drop Warren as well.

He is the Pacman in action, ending Morales carear, yes Erik Morales vs Pacquiao III, 1st fight El terrible wins on points, 2nd fight Pacman wins by TKO round 10 and fight 3 this one, Pacman ends it in 3 with a KO
Was a cracking fight and Khan did well to come back, thought he was beat a couple of times and from the look on Frank Warrens face, so did he. _________________
I disagree that he has to drop Warren, Throbber. He is exactly the promoter he needs. It's pretty clear that when he moves up to world class he is going to be exposed and knocked out. Warren is a master at picking the right opponents to pad out a record and bring in money whilst doing it. Michael Gomez should have been perfect in this regard, an aged and war weary fighter fighting above his weight class. Yes, Gomez put in a very good effort but Khan should never have been troubled by a guy who has been comprehensively beaten in a few of his recent fights. I think Warren will be even more selective in choosing opponents now as he must recognise that the goose that laid the silver egg (sic) won't cut it at the top. He'll make sure he and Khan both make good bucks before he risks him at a higher level. Khan should make his money at boxing because it's hard to see him lifting real World belts on this form.

Put like that and seen in that light, your probably right, mind you if he ends up with Freddie Roach it still might have been a mistake extending a contract with Warren.
